Matt was born and brought up in Eastbourne and is a loyal resident. His parents emigrated from Spain and built small businesses in Tourism and Hospitality with family guest houses and hotels. Growing up in that environment gave Matt a clear understanding of the hard work and attention to detail needed for a business to thrive. His early working life in Eastbourne was within estate agency and financial services before finally following his creative desires to work within the meetings and events industry with a special interest in design, innovation and event technology. Matt has proudly worked for Identity over the last seven years and brings his 25-years of experience in the industry to advise on client strategy and communication across a number of special projects, including the recent acquisition of the Smyle Group of Agencies, by Identity's parent company, the Human Network which now forms the largest independently owned group of event agencies in Europe. A proud Eastbournian, Matt is thrilled to be playing a part in the judging of this year's business awards.
